Proud HistoryBack in 1987, XGL were one of the first companies to be developing GUI software before Windows became popular and our first GUI systems ran in DOS! From an early idea, came successful patent applications and then the development of XGL Hypertext VOYAGER followed by the VOYAGER range of products, now under the family title VOYAGER INFORMATION SYSTEMS.

SOFTWAREDeveloped by XGL in the UK, the VOYAGER Information system was Alpha in 1992, Beta in 1993 and first launched in 1994 (version 1.0). VOYAGER Information system is currently at version 5.5 with significant feature enhancements and some ground-breaking technology as well as now incorporating some 25 different module sub-systems making up the overall VIS family of products
For the technically minded, XGL's core technology profile includes C++, C, Object Orientated Design, RDBMS, Structured Design and Message-Driven programming for all Windows API's from 3.0 to Win 2000/XP. VOYAGER products are all based on this technology.
